Dearest Friends,

Our hearts ache for the loss of our precious friend Carol. How excited we were on Cornell Drive when Dr. Finch called your home with the news, “It’s a girl.” We have shared so many milestones over the years, with sweet memories of playing in the yard, catching fireflies, Fourth of July fireworks. When I was teaching sixth grade, Carol helped me grade spelling papers and wrote encouraging comments to the children who did well. She grew into a lovely, capable young woman who loved her family and her career. Her smile, her laugh, her kind spirit, we remember her with love and joy.
It is 6 PM on Friday - we are just catching up on reading the newspapers after having been on vacation and read Carol’s obituary notice.
We send our love and deepest sympathy to you all, Steve and Sharlyn Stephens Radcliffe

Carol, I will never forget the life and laughter you brought to pre employment services at Prestige! When I saw you walk into the office, I knew it was going to be an awesome day! There were so many times you had me laughing to the point of tears. I will never forget all of the fond memories and your amazing sense of humor. I feel so blessed to have had the short time I did to spend with you! You will always have a place in my heart Carol. Your family will continue to be in my prayers.

Carol,

We had so much fun as Children, our parents being close friends. I dont think we used each others real names since freshman year , when Ruth and Bettty had a phone conversation and discussed us getting reunited back at CJ. Walking down the hall, you greeted me with; "Hey Betty! " And i said; " Hey Ruth" and the tradition began. At our 40th Reunion, thats how we left. So for the last time, i'll say "See you later, Ruth." God just got one of the funniest, best ladies in the world. I cherish my memories of our childhood and HS time together. Love you, Ruth, John Buehrle
