NORMAN, Diana Lynn, 62 passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019. Diana was born on July 22, 1957 to Donald E. and Elaine Mescher in Dayton, Ohio. Diana graduated from Chaminade Julienne High School and was a member of Queen of Martyrs Church. Diana was co-owner of D&T Tool and Die and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Diana made a lasting impact on so many lives as a coach for the school soccer team, a Girl Scout troop leader, a Kindergarten body management teacher, a ballet mother making recital tutus and so many other groups. Diana never turned down a request for help. While Diana was known for so many talents, her true gift was being a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. She took every opportunity to make life’s moments special with a hand crocheted blanket, Christmas stocking or a special birthday cake or pie. She took time to be there for sporting events music recitals, the first day of school and special traditions like going to the newest Transformer movie.

Diana is survived by her loving husband Thomas; mother Elaine Mescher; brothers: Richard (Krista), Dale and David (Shannon); brother in law Tony (Barb); daughters: Melissa (Ray), Monica (Jason), Amy (Adam) and Katherine (Ryan); grandchildren: Jennifer, William, Mara Patrick, Luke, Ava, Ella and Andrew, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended-family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Donald E Mescher and grandson Alexander Collins.

Oh Diana you will be dearly missed. You were my right hand and very dear friend when we taught at Queen of Martyrs. I knew I could always count on you and you truly did so many times. You were so strong in your quiet ways and showered love on all those you met. This especially showed through your family. You taught them how to love each other and wow does it really show. You have such a close knit family that are exuberant with their love for one another. Send love and thoughts of you always. SRM
