Larry was the youngest of nine children born to Andrew and Julia Weber. He grew up on a farm near Strongsville and served in the army in Europe during World War II. Larry retired from the Strongsville Ford plant after 31 years as a tool and die maker.
Larry and his beloved wife of 69 years, Eileen, raised their three sons on farmland in North Eaton. After 18 years they sold the farm and moved to N. Reed Rd. where they became known to their grandchildren as “Grandma and Grandpa Cuckoo” because of their living room clock. They were active members of North Eaton Christian Church. Larry and Eileen enjoyed square and round dancing for many years. Larry relished his garden, and he was a skilled lapidary and wood worker.
Larry was known to all as a sweet, kind, good man. Family was deeply important to him. His integrity, work ethic, and humor endeared him to many. He will be deeply missed.
Larry was predeceased by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his wife Eileen, his sons Dan (Barb), Mike (Debbie), and Bob (Mary), and by his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
A Memorial Service will be held at North Eaton Christian Church, 35895 Royalton Rd, Grafton Oh 44044, on Sunday, August 4 at 4:00 PM, with Visiting Hours from 2:00 – 4:00PM.
