She was an avid bridge player and volunteered at the USO. She was also a member of the ELL Club, 1941 and the Deweese Ridgecrest Civic Association. Our Mother was everything for us; a comforter, a chauffeur, doctor, and a cook. She was a Mother of all seasons, who lit up every room she entered. She spoke and listened to everyone with a smile. All who knew her, were blessed to have shared a piece of those 93 wonderful years. Sally, we really enjoyed the photos of Lois you shared. We have very fond memories of your mom and Phillips. I enjoyed getting to know you all at FV. Your mom was such a spunky, fun, classy lady. May you continue to find comfort in all the wonderful times you shared. Ron and Penny Hendrickson

I was saddened today when I heard of the passing of Ms.Lois....I had the privilege of taking her to test when she was at the hospital. It took no time for her to start talking baseball with me (some of the best conversations I've had about the game). When I could,I would pop in on her and ask about her night...she would tell me then ask if I saw the game the night before...I loved it . Even though she was the patient she brightened my day when I got to speak with her. She will be surely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family

Dear Sally and Mike,
I was so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. She was such a caring, kind person with a big smile and a twinkle in her eye that let you know she was always up for fun! She was so nice to me and certainly made everyone feel welcome and included. It is never easy saying goodbye to someone we love, no matter how long we have them. I hope all your wonderful memories and the love you all shared will ease her passing. Please accept my condolences.
Sincerely,
Christa Yoho Davies

the Cleavenger kids, Eddie, Winnie and David, were sad to hear of the passing of your dear mother Lois...that generation was so strong and supportive and taught all of us many wonderful lessons that have helped all of deal with many and frequent curve balls that come our way...I can honestly say that it is a terribly empty feeing not to be able to pass something by a parent....we were lucky to have had mom for almost 98 years. May God bless Mike, Sally and your families. Winnie Cleavenger
