So glad we were able to get to know Aunt Marianna and Uncle Bob better over the past 15 or 20 years. Will never forget the times we spent with them in the mountains, at the beach, at their place in Florida, and our place in Georgia.
Will most certainly miss them both. RIP.

Sending our sincere sympathy at the loss of your mother /grandmother. Though I haven't seen her in many years I have many fond childhood memories. I recently found a letter Ruth from you from when I was at church camp. You said "I burnt my finger ironing my Dad's pants." Gave me a chuckle. I also remember you almost always had cake at your house and you were allowed to bake on your own! It seems you had a huge barrel of sorts full of cake mixes at the bottom of the basement steps. My Mom, Janet, would get irritated with me because I would help you "work" at placing school class photos on the dryer in your basement. She would say I would work without complaint for Mrs. Schwabe but did not want o do my own work at home... maybe because I got cake! Many more memories too as we accumulate more the older we get. Though it is very hard to lose a parent, it is wonderful you had her for so many years. God bless you all.
