STIFFLER, Ronald L age 75 of Troy passed away on July 21, 2019. Ron worked for Delco Moraine for 32 years as a Millwright and retired in 1999. He was a proud member of the United Auto Workers Local 696. Ron also proudly serviced his country in the US Navy from January 17, 1962 to June 25, 1965. He is proceeded in death his parents Watt and Mildred Stiffler, many brothers and sisters, and his oldest son, Ronald S. Stiffler. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Brenda Stiffler; Brother Harry Stiffler; Sons Jim Stiffler, Rick Stiffler, John Stiffler (Cheryl Nunnery); Daughters Theresa Zornes (Mitch), Angela Hockett, Lisa Kindle (Dan); Grandchildren Maura Harrison (TJ), Trevor Zornes, Peyton Stiffler, Brandon Stiffler, Justin Hockett, Leanna Hockett, Lauren Kindle, Ashley Kindle; Great-grandchildren Bella Freshour and Warren Fink; and his beloved pups Steve & Charlie. Ron had a passion for rebuilding cars from engines to body work as well as home renovations. Ron was a great teacher to his children about having a strong work ethic and working hard for the things you want in life. A private immediate family visitation will be held on Friday, July 26th followed by funeral services with full military honors to begin at 9:30am at the Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Miami County, Inc. or to the Miami County Animal Shelter.
