To the family and friends of Mrs. Jordan always cherish the fond memories of time spent together and although you may grieve the Bible can be a source of comfort. At (Revelation 21:3,4) it speaks of a time when there will be no more sickness or death, also at (Acts 24:15) it speaks of a resurrection that we all can look forward to. May the peace and love of the God of the Bible be with you all.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother, Jeff. I sure remember her well, growing up in Vandalia. She and my mother, Ruby Hesler, were always together it seemed. Roxie was my mother's close friend. I remember seeing old photos when we lived in Vandalia. One funny story I can tell about your mother is this. My mother and Roxie and myself (in the backseat of the car) were on our way home from shopping. A black cat came right out into the street and my mother, who was driving, stopped to avoid hitting the poor black cat. Roxie, the front passenger, was screaming, "Stop, stop, stop!" She wouldn't let Ruby drive down the street past the black cat. I didn't realize she was superstitious. I just laughed but Roxie didn't think it was funny. I've always remembered this growing up. Roxie was such a sweet person. She was a great wife and mother. God bless you Jeff. Teresa Hesler Hulce
